THE PERFECT LIFESTYLE

In Surah Ahzaab (21), Allah (S.W.T) says, ”Undoubtedly, there is a perfect example for you in the Messenger of Allah for him who hopes to meet Allah and believes in the Last Day.”

Abu Hurairah (R.A) narrates that The Messenger of Allah (S.A.W) said, “All the people of my Ummah will enter into Paradise except the one who rejects.” It was asked, “O Messenger of Allah! Who is the one who rejects?” He replied, “The one who obeys me shall enter paradise. The one who disobeys me, has rejected.” (BUKHARI)

In Surah Aal Imraan (31), Allah (S.W.T) says, “Say! (O Muhammad!) If you love Allah, then follow me! Allah will love you and forgive your sins.”

In Surah Nisaa (8), Allah (S.W.T) says, “Whoever obeys the Messenger has obeyed Allah.”

An eminent Sahaabi, Ibn Masood (R.A) says, “Whoever wishes to thread a path should follow those who have passed on because those that are living are not free from tribulations. The great personalities to follow are the Companions of Muhammad (S.A.W) – Sahaabah (R.A). They are the greatest era of this Ummah. Their hearts were the most pure and sincere. Their knowledge was the most in depth. In formalities, they were the least. Allah chose them to accompany His Nabi and to establish His Deen. So recognise their superiority, follow their footsteps and hold firm to what you are able, to their qualities and ways because they were on Siraat Mustaqeem (The Righteous Way). (RAZEEN)

The Sahaabah (R.A) are the forerunners of Deen and ardent followers of the Sunnah of Rasulullah (S.A.W). In following those that have followed the footsteps of the Sahaabah (R.A), one will be on the guided route to eternal success. For this reason, it is very important to study, practice and propagate the lives of Sahaabah (R.A) and Sunnan of Nabi (S.A.W).
